The 'ol bait and switch

So Saturday I went to Petsmart with Franklin to pick up some doggie stuff. I guess he was feeling extra excited that morning because he seemed to be skipping through the aisles in pure doggie bliss. Of course we checked out the toys and the bones and the doggie food. I decided to get them a can of special canned dog food for their Christmas breakfast and then two candy cane shaped rawhides (50% off!! I highly recommend).

So by Sunday the rawhides were well chewed and Molly seems to be the doggie that always has a rawhide nearby. So I guess Franklin couldn't find the other one and decided that he wanted Molly's. So he devised a plan to trick the little furball . . . he grabbed another one of her favorite toys (a big green plush bone shaped toy) and started squeaking it, attracting the attention of the little furball. Molly being Molly decided that she wanted to play with the green bone now that Franklin was playing with it. She dropped her rawhide and proceeded to get it from Franklin. Well Frank dropped the green bone as soon as Molly was close and DARTED for the bone. He got it and immediately started chewing on it as if he was rightfully his the whole time. So then a bunch of dog growling ensued and then some dog chasing . . . . At this point in time, I was wondering where was the other rawhide? I had purchased two for a reason. . . . . Oh yeah, it was on the floor in the bedroom . . they had been whizzing by it during their doggie chasing!

Anyways, I was kind of proud that Franklin was able to trick the little furball. She's just so bossy and in his face all the time that she got what she deserved!!
