Hint #2: It was taken many moons ago!
Hint #3: The person holding the little pup is my dad. As a young boy. I had to crop out his awesome glasses, as they would totally give away the era of the photo.
Why. . . this is a picture of my dad and his poodle, Pierre, Christmas Morning 1967. Yes . . 1967!! And no, this dog is not related to Franklin.
This is Franklin. So similar huh!? (This is a picture of Franklin with his namesake, Benjamin Franklin)
Growing up, I heard stories of said Poodle, but I never saw any pictures of him. My dad told me how Pierre had a moustache and my grandma told me how he really liked reddi-whip (he would come running to the fridge if he heard the little schthztsh sound). . . but that was about it. No pictures, nothing. So when I got Frankie, my dad and my grandma told me that he looked a whole lot like Pierre. I mean, I believed them, but seriously, I would believe you if you told me that was a picture of Frankie as a pup! These pictures have recently come to light as my aunt & uncle digitize my grandparent's old slides. Here are some more comparisons just to prove my point. . .
